Corona Days Update

Well it’s been a month can you even believe it.  I miss hugging you all so much it hurts.  I thought it would be helpful to give you a synopsis of what we have done in those 4 weeks in case you are just coming back to the game.

Lesson 17  

  • The last lesson before we were stuck at home.  

  • We took our narratives to paragraphs and sentences.

  • We review Ego, Shadow Self & Victim Stance as potential blockers to seeing our Destructive Responses.

  • I handed out the Destructive Response Assessment Tool (DRAT) to get a handle on what Destructive Responses we could identify in our lives.

Corona Days 

  • We revisited why we are doing GTYS.

  • We reviewed the first 4 Steps.

  • We started our video meeting.

Lesson 18

  • We resumed completing our Destructive Response Assessment Tool (DRAT) .

  • We reviewed lesson 17 and had our second video meeting.

Lesson 19

  • The Destructive Response Worksheet (DRW) was introduced to further explore the Destructive Responses you found present on your DRAT.

  • We began discussing sin in terms of the love it blocks, the love you give and receive from God and others.

  • We discussed what repentance looks like.

  • You were to continue to use the DRW for each Destructive Response you discovered in your life in order to share your insight over the next few weeks.

Lesson 20

  • We posted our first shot at video teaching.

  • We discussed symptoms or alarms of your emotional and spiritual health deterioriating.

  • We reviewed what Matthew 5:8 teaches.

  • You were to continue to use the DRW for each Destructive Response you discovered in your life in order to share your insight over the next few weeks.

Lesson 21

  • We watched the video of Liz sharing her work on the destructive response of Fear of rejection and abandonment.

  • We discussed one of our own destructive responses in our small groups.

  • We were given a lesson to read.

  • We were given questions within the lesson to answer on the website as well to prepare for next week.
